Minimal Bio
I am currently a postdoc researcher at LAAS for 20 months. This happens after another 1 year postdoc at LPPA, Collège de France. I obtained PhD degree (2011) from the Université Montpellier 2, France and my Master (2008) from the University of Paris 7, France and the ingénieur degree (2007) from the Institut National d’Informatique (INI), Algeria. I conducted my PhD research at the CNRS-AIST Joint Robotics Laboratory (JRL), UMI3218/CRT at Tsukuba (Japan) and at the INRIA Grenoble within Bipop team.
Current Position
I am a postdoc researcher and my current work aims at designing a stabilizer for balance-keeping of a biped robot that complies with the Stack of Task (SoT) framework. The objective is to enable control and locomotion in uneven and outdoor terrains.
Research Interests
My research interests include humanoid robots (passive and actuated locomotion, imitation and interaction), biomechanics of human gait, neuroscience, computational geometry, learning and sensing (state observers, sensor fusion, signal processing)
